Oct.18,2003 Crappie Tournament on Lake Ray Hubbard. All Tubes are welcome, there is close areas to fish in well baited and brushy boat slips in nearby marina(BAYVIEW,Captains Cove) You are all welcome to join in.Fishing is improving Daily in the marina areas, should be great by the date set!
Register morning of Tourn. starting at 5:00a.m. at Robertson Park (east side) corner by the boat ramp next to the Big Texas River Boat.

Tubes can have advantage in getting in those tight places where the Crappie like to hide.
For instance in fishing the marina slips all of us Fisherman on the walkways are always trying to shoot, fling, pitch, any way we can to get under those shaded pontoon boats.
I might feel a little strange being under a pontoon boat in a tube but I would seriously consider that to be my first technique if I was fishing in a tube.
There is hanging brush on alot of the sides of the slips and the shaded area underneath and inbetween the barges has been working well.
Hope alot of you Tubers make a showing.
