Just wanted to let everyone know that my wife and I added a new fishing buddy to the party yesterday morning.

Reilly Walker Rodgers was born at 7:35 a.m., July 16th. He was 18-1/4 inches long (his mother is short!) and weighed 7 lbs., 1 oz. (Just above the slot--I think we'll keep him!)

Glad to hear of the new additon to your family. Reilly (cool name!) definitely sounds like a keeper! I hope mother and son are both doing well.

Actually, Kelly, it was one of those giant swim baits like they love out in California. Casts far, runs deep. Seriously heavy tackle. Remember what they say about the size of the tackle we guys who night fish in our tubes use--only the biggest stuff. Only gonna use it for catch and release now, if you know what I mean. We have a boy and a girl, so I've got nothing left to prove!
