Isle Du Bois state park. Check out the areas around the pier. Theres a cove left of the boat ramp too.

Yes, I think it's 5 bucks a head....and it's good for the tailrace area on the other side of the dam too....that would be the elm fork trinity river on its' way to lewisville lake....

It bumped up to $7 last month.
Get the yearlong pass if you go with anybody over 12 they pay too. With my family the $85 for 2 cars pays for itself quick. One pass is like $70 or so. If you are always by yourself the 11th trip and on is on the house. Not bad for access to all the Parks in Texas.
