115 merc. 2006 model...tilt works up & down out of water, in water when I raise tilt to get on plane,and give power to the motor, the motor lowers to lowest pos. and can't raise tilt. have replaced O rings and check valve. help would be greatly appriciated. Ken

Sounds like you still have a check valve or the manual release not holding.
