Can anyone tell me if there will be another float tube tournament in the Dallas area anytime soon. If so, could you please provide the logistics.

Joe,

We're planning on holding two tournaments a month on the 1st and 3rd Sat. of each month. Fishn'addiction and myself are working on the tournament schedule and the lakes we'll fish. I'm 95% sure the next tourney will be at Mineral Wells State Park on the 17th.

More will be posted soon. Would you like me to add your email address to our list of names and send you info on it? You can join us this Saturday, May 3rd, at Grapevine. Registration is cash prior to launch. The rules are listed here, in this post.

Kelly: Just want to make sure that it's o.k. to fish a pontoon style kick boat in your tournaments if I only use kick fins. I have an old kick boat made of styrofoam that was manufactured by a company out of Oklahoma. It's one ugly baby and my friends make fun of it, but I've caught alot of nice fish while using it.

Kick boats are fine as long as they are "fin or kick powered".
Hope to see you there!!
