That happened to me about 25 years ago on Lake Buchanan and about 18-20 years ago on Tawakoni.

Hi Englishman, good to hear nothing bad happened. I have seen pictures of a rod after a strike and all the fibers seperate so the rod looks like a horses tail with rings where the eyelets are.

I was on tawakoni sunday too but did not even see a storm.

We were on the south end of the lake at tallman, the dam and holiday and had a tough day too. We managed about 20 but never got into much of a school at all.
