Lookin to get a new flipping stick. Other then Ducketts, what are some good rods to consider. I'm probably wantin a 7 6 heavy action. Doesn't have to have micro guides. I'd also prefer a split cork grip. My price range is not to exceed $175. I have heard that the Dobyns savvy micro series is pretty good. What would yal recommend, including length and action, thanks to any replies

Powell Flipping Rod 7'6" Med Hvy 765 $169.99 at Tackle Warehouse and other places. Powell Flipping Rod 7'10" Med Hvy 7105 also $169.99 - a little more length for more leverage.
Shimano Crucial Flipping Rod 7'5" Heavy Shimano Crucial Flipping Rod 7'7" Med Hvy X Fast Shimano Crucial Flipping Rod 7'11" Heavy X Fast All also $169.99 at TW
I prefer my Powells but all are quality rods under $200

Not going to help much, but I've never been able to replace my flipping stick. I had a custom flipping stick that was the shiz, ex tourney partner disappereared with it.
James if you're reading this, this is trey, I know our paths seperatored with our work, but I'd love to have my rods etc back!!!!!
I've tried with a joe burns custom, a carrot stick a falcon lowrider and a cara and a Powell and nothing compaires to my dads old flipping stick I used, don't even know who the rod builder was anymore.
Good luck on finding a good flipping stick, I'm still searching for one as good as my old custom!!!!
