In my experience, cold fronts almost always mess up the bite for 2-3 days.

In memory of my childhood friend Dan Sterling, who taught me at an early age how to catch bream with a hand-line, and who unknowingly hooked me on fishing for life.

I think when it's a cold and the temps drop 20 to 30 degrees then it messes with the fish. A front coming through during May and the temps only drop 10 degrees from 90 to 80 the fish are saying yes lets eat..JMO

Would the cold front change whether or not you fished? I'm gonna be out there regardless!

If you are a tournament fisherman you MUST fish in all weather conditions. You never know what you might run into during a tournament.

I also don't let weather dictate when I fish for fum. I would much rather fish overcast or rainy days than blue bird skies. But I fish them all anyway.

i hate dealing with those nasty conditions but usually find fishing to be better. I dread going out on a picture perfect day. But like you said I fish in all weather except extremely windy 30+mph or lightning.
