Finally got my wife to fish with me this morning and my ankle injury from lastnight was still sore but didnt hurt enough to stop me from fishing today. We got on the lake at 10 am, fished til 12:45, went to eat at Glorias and then fished for another hr. We caught lots of nice sandies and abt 5 baby hybrids. All caught in the south in 31ft and in 25 ft, at two spots. Water temp 76-78 degrees, wind was 10-17 mph. All caught on Moes slabs.

My wife kicked my butt today in counts, which is how its suppose to go??

My trip yesterday was cut an hr short at the end because, my engine was difficult starting around 3pm. It started fine before that. But it finally started after a dozen cranks. Very weird on my super reliable Honda 4-stroke!!

Thanks Austin! My mom is doing better and is sheduled to go home this Wednesday. Her mind is almost 100% back and she can use her right hand now, but the physical therapy team is still teaching her to take baby steps and walk.

She had a fall six weeks ago, and what seemed to be minor at the time. But there was bleeding in her head which the CT scan found abt three weeks ago and she was operated on and had the blood removed. I picked a good time take off work and visited and saved my Mom three weeks ago!!

Sorry I missed yall Todd I was out yesterday morning and again about 7pm. I had to go to grandkids baseball games in the afternoon. But I didnt do as good as you on the catching.

Funny. I have been wondering who some of the names I see on here all the time are. Fished close to you sat afternoon. Didn't realize I was in the presentce of an celebrity LOL. Was about to come over when you had problems starting then you got it.
