 Pity Me--My Thumbs are Torn Up!

Hit Hubbard's little gems last night. Fishing was good--managed 8, including 1 over 7, 1 fiesty bluegill, and 1 channel cat. All but one fish came on a topwater (even the channel cat and bluegill--black jitterbug!). Had some HUGE blowups that I missed. I definitely need to change the hooks on that jitterbug--Arbograst uses the worst hooks I've ever seen. Sounded like a bathtub being dropped into the lake! Water is a bit low, but the vegetation is submerged right now--most of it is 4-6 feet below the surface, and water temps in the low 80s make it a primetime for topwater action after dark!
I will be returning SOON, if anyone wants to hook up.

Try Gamakatsu EWG hooks. I have been replacing all my crankbait hooks with these for years, they are awesome!! Mustad Triple Grip are also pretty good, much better than stock.

That's just what I need, hooks that STICK better than the hooks that come with the lures.  Or maybe these hooks won't stick people?
