I know that if you even slightly brush structure with a fish on ..... HE IS GONE and you are tying a new hook on!
I am on my last spool of flouro unless I fish a lake with little or no brush to touch my line.
Mono works just fine, I can feel bites better with flouro, but if I lose my fish because my line touches a tiny branch then mono is better.

On top of that it will rot on your reel .... 6 to 8 months and it is noticeably weaker.
