Some buddies of mine invited me to go camping at Joe Pool this weekend and I wanted to see if any of you thought it was worth it to bring my tube along...thoughts?

Hit britton park and tube under the railroad bridge but watch out for the snakes!! But if you see a snake fish behind it because bass love to trail a snake and sometimes eat them!

If you're camping then you will be staying at Lloyd park... look for crappie dock and tube out there in the cove

Also hit Lynne Creek and you'll get some nice tubing there but stay away from the boat ramp!!!

iamthemorg,
I sometime tube in the cove by the Marina at Robertson Park, close to the Texas Queen paddleboat. I had more luck there last year, but its been bit slow this year. I have also tubed by the Miller Rd bridge (Miller Rd, before it hits Dalrock. Havent had a whole lot of luck there, but havent really fished it enough to be able to pass good judgment on it. If you want to try some morning send me an email, and I can join you.

John 5:24 Very truly I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.

1Peter 3:18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit.

That's a nice one.

I also like the measuring tools you used, never thought about using a tire. wink

I am actually in downtown dallas - but since I have family in McKinney; I am usually all over the Metroplex finding good fishing. Where do you usually fish? I definitely think we should meet up and attack those fish sometime.

I usually fish over in the Ft. Worth and Decatur with a couple of friends (Fishbrain and Basch) from the forum. Sometimes we do go up to Ray Roberts and hit the south side just east of the dam.

I'll let you know the next time we head out. thumb

Don't take him to your secret spots, Iam--he's a quick learner, and he'll sore-mouth all the fish! laugh
