Nobody needed tomato juice but Tuan was the only one catching striper. We needed live shad blue gills didn't work. And I lost my new $15 Alabama rig. No more Texoma for me until late October.

Went to eagle mountain Saturday fished for 2 hours and caught 5 sandies and a 3# blue trolling. Sticking with the local lakes until the fall. If you want to hit a local lake REN let me know

Eagle Mountain is a hard lake to fish. I've never done well at the main lake. The creek/river below Eagle Mountain is another story, when time comes I'll take you out there & murder some crappie! I was suppose to go out to Grapevine this morning but woke up too late. I've always wanted to hit up Benbrook & Granbury. I used to do well from the banks for sandies, but that was like in the early 90's.

Oh lake worth out of nature center is nothing new to me. Will be the first winter with my yak so we can hit it up for sure. Last year I went a lot with my buddy in his little two man pontoon but we never quit made it to vances camp. This year I expect to cover a lot more ground maybe even make it to the dam. Takes me 20 mins top to get to nature center.

Hey you are forgetting about my stripers one was kinda tiny but the other was 17 1/2 inches... Still Tuan was the striper slayer of the day!
