Tilapia. It's probably the mildest fish out there

I am in the same boat with ya buddy! The secret is eating extremely fresh fish... I mean from fipping to fryer within a couple hours. The reason you and I don't like to eat "fish" is because its serveral days old and stinks like dirty.... well you know. Catch is and fry it up fast. It really has very little taste to it at all. Try bass or crappi...Fresh!

I would suggest fresh Largemouth, Crappie, or small Catfish. Stay away from White Bass or even Striper to start, although fish people enjoy to eat those too.

You can soak in milk to help get rid of any fishy taste.

Fried is one of my favorites, especially if you are new to fish. Tartar sauce good with it.

I do both dove and fish this way before I fry...let them sit in Italian dressing for a while...takes some of the game out...and yes...catch clean and fry within hours...

Get it done, no excuses.

I heard that walleye are the mildest...I'm not a huge fan of fish either..corn meal with a little tony cacheres more spice mixed in.fry it up...and COVER in hot sauce..kills the fishy taste for me but I love hot sauce too.

Crappie or halibut is what you want.

The gene pool could use a little chlorine.

I may be in the minority here but bass does not taste fishy to me at all. I actually think it is quite sweet tasting if dipped and flash fried. Also if freezed in water, it cooks up as good as the day it was caught. Whites, hybrids and stripes eat well as long as the blood line is removed IMO.

I have the same issue. Walleye is the best fish by far. Second thy yellow perch (from northern lakes). After that Halibut. If that don't work learn to eat blackened fish. Good luck

Catch and release? Seems to fix your problem entirely.
