Looking for minners by the overlook park area. The place by the dam never opened on Monday morning. Also, anyone launched at Welch park? Just wondering if the ramp was super busy or if you know of another good ramp in the area. Heading out with my son in the morning.

I believe the marina at the overlook has minnows and I think that they open at 0600. Just check in at the gate and tell them you are going to the marina.

Should of also said that you can launch there too, then motor over to the marina and get minnows. Call 979-289-2321 to confirm.

I've always bought them from the marina there at Overlook. It really is easier to launch and drive to the marina in the boat.
