Hi I am looking for any suburban/subdivision ponds in the NW Houston Cypress area that holds bass or catfish. I've been skunked or caught the occasional .5-1 pound bass at my local pond and am looking for somewhere that has a good amount of decent sized fish, thanks in advance!

I talked to a fella at Lake Woodlands yesterday that fishes for catfish, says he does pretty good. Northshore Park.
A few years back I did an electrofishing survey of that lake and found largemouth bass, yellow bass, crappie, channel catfish, and common carp all in good numbers.

Thanks I'll try that sometime! But I'm looking for something within the cypress area. By the way I will be only doing catch and release and will pick up all trash thanks!
