Im gonna be out in Whitney tomorrow morning to pick up a new puppy. Never fished Lake Whitney but we were thinking about hitting Lofer's Bend Park for a few hours.
Anyone fish this lake regularly? TPWD's website said something about golden algae, is it worth even trying or should I wait and just hit a pond by the house?
Any input is appreciated. We'll be fishing with secret 7 dip bait and maybe some cut bait if I can catch any.
