I haven't stayed there this year but I drove down there a couple of weeks ago. It was open. Talked to a man Wednesday who launched down there. b

If I'm not fishing or hunting I'm hunting a place to fish or hunt.

Terrible place that will keep your deposit when a tournament is cancelled there.

But isnt it the nicest, best lay out, full service place on T-Bend? From the pics I've seen it looks immaculate compared to everything else I've layed eyes on around that area.

I will stay in the truck next time if its the only place.

By the way is it still the same owners? I heard they went broke and it may have new owners. If so disregard my posts on it.

I was at Fin and Feather yesterday. The last owners went bankrupt. They had a buyer and the sale fell through for some reason. The estate of one of the conglomerate of 8 who got it going in the last few years appears to be the owner. I think it is tangled up in law suits. However, the facility still is in excellent condition. The lake is up and both boat ramps are usable. I booked 8 days in their RV park and look forward to going back. Everything is the same except for the restaurant that is not open. By far, Fin and Feather is the nicest facility on that part of the lake and maybe the entire lake.

I'll second that one. And it is still closed.

Any other campgrounds in that area? I know about the one at Six Mile Marina....looking for something a bit nicer.

I stayed there for the Bassmaster Weekend Series last month. It is a really nice place. Kinda pricy, but nice. I was concerned about the trouble there last year with the reservations but I had no problems when they told me they would not run the card used to reserve the room until I checked in. I asked if they would charge if I canceled and she said no that they were trying to change things from the previous owners.
