Novato I know that pain well. Nothing like standing on top of the best producing white bass hump in the lake and being 30 feet from the water. Most west texas lakes still need floods.

Can someone explain how the Feds count recreational Red Snapper catch?

She ended up with 7 fish.. Her dad caught about 16 fish and I only managed about 8 cause I was helping her so much. But that's what it's all about... Only fished for 2 hours. She is only 7 and was having trouble keeping her line tight and I couldn't keep her from reeling up her line half the time lol.. The wind didn't help much either...

I have the pattern figured out after 2 trips though... My spot is producing fish from sun up until 6:30ish then they turn off like a light switch... Then you have to go around the other side of the point into a big flat open field and they are surfacing like crazy! Found several other spots stacked with fish. But just can't get bit...

I think that is one of the important things with kids and fishing. Plan on leaving when they get tired and they are far more likely to want to go next time you leave the house. Good job, 7 is a good first day IMO
