Taking my first trip to Falcon next week!!! Going down on Thursday evening and going to fish Friday and Saturday then haul butt back to make the momma happy on mothers day. Still not sure how I got the kitchen pass signed on this one but I'm not arguing early forecast is callin for partly cloudy and 5-10 mph wind both days Hopeing to set a new PB since my current is only 8.04

Wind is supposed to be out of the east which scares me some. The old timers in my family have always said "winds from the west, fish bite the best. Winds from the east, fish bite the least. Winds from the north, stay on the porch. Winds from the south blows te bait in the fish's mouth." Sure hope it is good.

Hope we have more than luck on our side. Besides mag flukes and dd22's what is that scouting report for this lake?? I will be totally out of my element, I'm more of a Texas rig or spinnerbait guy.

Stay on the USA side of the lake!
Make dang sure you motor starts fast and runs faster.
Personally, no bass is worth dealing with the security issues on those two Reo Grande lakes. If you do not know what I am talking about, then don't go!

Plenty of 1 to 2 oz lead egg weights for c rigs no sense using all you tungsten down there. Strike king 6 xd citrus shad an pearl dd22s worked for us two weeks ago. Just find a good ledge or point with rock protected from the wind and you will find fish. We took two sets of batteries and killed them each day fighting wind good luck.
