Launched at 155 both days last year. Got there at 3:45 am both days and waited in line 15-20 mins.....

I fished it about 20 yrs ago...Got a gun pulled on me,I was fishing on a spot all by myself and was tied up, this guy came up and said.."DUDE YOU ARE ON MY SPOT" you will leave or I will shoot your boat!!It was a big GUN, so I left. never fished one again. VREY TRUE STORY

its a rodeo jerk circus out there...2 years ago i had it out with 2 guys in the middle of the boat run...one of them said he was just gonna give me some concrete shoes and i polity said "mr. glock 40 says differently"...went to the weigh in and told them what happened and gave them the tx numbers and they said it would get handled...i will never fish another kykx event...i still get mad thinking about them 2 jerks

I fished that tournament about 5 years in a row in the mid 90's. I grew up about 7 miles from the lake. Can you say rednecks and lake trash? That's 80% of the fishermen in the tournament.

I have fished it for years. I have had problems with rude fisherman but then anytime you put that many boats fishing for that kind of money you get all type. It's no different that McDonalds on Rayburn or Fork. I hate'em but the money can't be beat so I fish'em.
