You're going to get 50 different answers... haha.
I like Strikeworks because their color combos are unbeatable and they're very stout.

make your own texas rig jig = what ever lead or tungsten bullet weight with a rig stop or peg it, a stanley hole punch skirt, with your favorite ewg or straigt shank hook, also your favoite soft plastic. no big bushy weed guards, this will allow you to down scale as much as you need to for the conditions you are faced. the only con is the bait not being able to stand up on the bottom. so it is a great technique for flippin or swimmin plus way cheaper since most of us already have tons of bullet weights and hooks. so the really only thing you have to buy is pegs and skirts.

I like jigs with a stand up type head and a large hook for pitching. Santone, Viper XP, and Revenge are my pitching jigs. I like the All Terrain grass jig for flipping grass. Dirty jigs swim jig is what I use for swimming a jig. I use 3/4 Revenge and Santone jigs for stroking jigs in deep water.
I have never heard of the Double K brand until now but they seem to be made with everything I like in a pitching jig. I use a lot of baby paca craws as trailers and since they are making matching skirts that would be a bonus to me.

The best quality custom jigs you can get for about $1.50 each. If you are serious about jig fishing check out - cast industries for jig heads and barlows for skirts.
Cast industries will build a jig to your specs- head style (go w/ double collar),hook (can't beat gamakatsu), thickness of weed guard, and powder coat paint or unpainted. I order 100-200 at a time. Barlows catalog has every type and color skirt known to man.
In today's economy it don't hurt to save some money.

I like smaller jigs. A 3/16 oz. Strike King Bitsy Flip and a Paca Chunk trailer will catch quantity and size. Gren pumpkin usually.
In memory of my childhood friend Dan Sterling, who taught me at an early age how to catch bream with a hand-line, and who unknowingly hooked me on fishing for life.

Rockcrawler jigs.
Built for Texas lakes with top quality components. Check the hooks and skirts that is where companies will try and save money and go with cheap hooks and skirt material.

Whoever their sponsor is at the time of this question is the best jig ever made. If you don't have ten of them then you are not going to catch anything.
