Saw the release was 50cfs but not sure how much watershed help it is receiving if any. Anybody completed the overnighter to Rochelles?

I've done it as low as 46cfs. It's not so much dragging that it ruins the trip. You'll drag 2 or 3 times the first 10 miles, 5 or 6 times the last 10 miles, usually just for short distances except for one spot at about mile 18. That one's a long drag but the bottom is level and fairly smooth. Most dragging will be in the riffles where the river bends. The bigger hassle will be the headwinds. If you can, take two nites to do the trip. Doing it in one night leaves not much time to fish.

Agreed, two nights is a must to really enjoy the trip. The parts you have to drag are very minor obstacles and do not detract from the greatness of this stretch, even during extremely low flow. Enjoy
Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to fish, and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.
