Anyone want to point me in the direction of some sandies and hybrids?? I don't normally fish for anything but black bass so I am not very familiar with what to use or where to go. Maybe one of y'all wouldnt mind giving us a lesson? I'm going out around 5:30 this afternoon.

But forgot to add something............
Dont know what type boat your fishing out of or hol old your son is, but wind this evening supposed to 15mph out of south with gusts 20/25 mph out of south, Just watch it, benbrook gets pretty bad in hurry with a stiff south wind.

20 foot skeeter, I was kinda thinking that the wind might run us off. We are going to give it a try but if it's more work than its worth we will call it quits. My son is 6 and just got his first bait cast reel today so he is about to go bananas if I don't get him out there.
