SATURDAY APRIL 28TH:
The Bass Pro Shop Grapevine Series returned to the Vine today as (35) teams competed against some tough wind from the south at times reaching 30+ mph. The weigh-in was held "Classic Style" at the Bass Pro Shop in Grapevine.
The team of Shultz and Shultz continued to find big bass as they dominated the field sacking five over-the-slot bass for 21.42 pounds to seal the win. Vidal and Dubose took second with 13.42. Third place was claimed by Moffett and Hayes with 12.13 which was anchored by the second BIG BASS of the day, a 5.24 kicker. Caldwell and Davis finished in the fourth spot with 11.16, and rounding out the top-five was Chapman and Delgado with 10.37 which included the BPS BIG BASS of 6.44 pounds. Chapman and Delgado received a $200.00 BPS gift card for the biggest bass of the event.
The BPS Grapevine Series returns to Lake Lewisville on May 12th. Here are the final results:
