Hello all im about to buy a kayak. and i was wondering what are some good spots to launch and were to go to fish from a kayak in matagorda, galveston area
Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn

What kind of Kayak? All depends on the conditions in those waters. Lol

Personally Id just go exploring and find some promising spots. Things are always changing there. Thats what I plan on doing this summer when I go down there. I'd love to go fish the outer most bars off the beach if the conditions are right

Ernie's Bait Camp and CR 257L (technically Drum Bay) are the two launches I have used on Christmas Bay. I'll attach my Saltwater Launch map, but I don't have any launch on there north of Cedar Lakes. Google Maps
