You need a tour guide not necessarily a fishing guide.

Jay Greishaw- He refused to pick up a rod until we told him we weren't fishing until he did. Great guy and excellent guide.

I recommend you try Jay Greishaw 757-537-5968. He proved to us he was working for us and not just providing a boat for us to fish from. I had to insist he pick up a rod and fish also. Even after that he put it down frequently to help us with taking fish off and to rig us up again after a break off. Jay was very willing to share his fishing knowledge and fishing spots. He's a super nice guy also. Very enjoyable to spend the day with.

Most every guide I have been and fishes with does something different from what they have you do. Usually trying to expand the pattern.

I forgot to mention Jay Greishaw has one of those automatic GPS controlled trolling motors that he controls with a remote control unit he keeps on a lanyard around his neck. He can control the boat from anywhere he is on the boat even if he is sitting down working on your fish or tackle. That means the front of the boat is wide open for you to fish from. You have the prime spot and can fish the prime areas 100% of the day. It was an amazing thing how he could set it to lock in position and it kept the boat in the same spot even in high winds.

Jim Edwards and Jim Behnken would both be highly recomended.

As far as Fishing, Both will Fish, But will intentionally miss the sweetspots and direct you to them if you miss.

Haven't fished with Jay.

I forgot to mention that. My partner basscat13 fished from the front of the boat the whole day. Jay took second fiddle. I prefer the back so I stayed there at my OWN doing. Sweet trolling motor!!!

Jay Greishaw had to make him pick up a rod and a pleasure to fish with.Taught us how to use our electronics and fish off shore humps. And that trolling motor is sick on his boat never seen anything like it.

Rizman and Basscat13 - How'd you guys do for the remainder of your trip? I'm still salivating over those awesome ribs you made for us on Friday night.

We did great. It slowed slightly than our first few days but it was awesome. Ben ended up boating a 9-4 the day before we left. That was big fish for the week.
