What do you think the top little lakes are in north and east Texas?

Haven't fished the smaller lakes much and would like to start working my way through a few of them.

Lake pinkston is great. Held the state record for a while. Also lake Kurth between nacogdoches and lufkin is a good lake. Watch for some good size gators on kurth!

Pinkston does seem to be a good lake. Just wasn't "on" on my trip. Maybe I'll try out Kurth, next trip. Or even Naconiche. grin

Kiowa, only problem is its private. Ask anyone that's fished it though they will tell you the same.

does monticello count as a little lake, because if it does then we shouldn't have any further discussion on this. but also mill creek in canton is pretty stout and never been there but from what i've been told a big +1 on gilmer.
