Yep zip tie the little connectors on your rods and changing them out will be quick and easy

Very simple and hassle free.

good idea! im tired of re-taping every single time!

I personaly don't use glow.sticks. o just use the bite alarm bells. They kinda suck in the wind as I'm finding out right now.

I make some out of rubber hose small not sure what size but will post pic/size when I get to work.what I do is cut two small hose 3/4" long super glue them side by side then just cut one of the hose verticel so that it slips on the rod and put glow stick in the other hose hole.will post pics later cheap and easy.

I use them everytime I night fish even if I'm using clickers. We've been using very small zip ties, make sure you cut them off with wire cutters though and not a knife

I've had greater luck with powder based luminescent sticks or LED battery operated ones.

The powder ones are like these:

And here's a link for some good LED battery operated one designed for fishing: http://glowarehouse.com/products/submersible-flashing-fishing-lights
