TO:crazyazzrednek, I did understand that you were (mainly) just wanting to fish with someone that own a boat that would meet you at Gibbons Creek Reservoir. And I do own a boat(1972 Falcon-17'open-bow tri-hull with 115hp merc. outboard and would like to fish there sometime too.But right now my truck has a blown engine. And my boat has a bad alternator, bad battery, tilts out,no tags,no registration and the list goes on.Hopefully by late summer I'll be able to get everthing fixed. But don't quote me on that!! Because my grandpa always told me to "Never count your chickens before there hatched" And he was a pretty smart old man.I bank fish a lot on Yegue Creek around Newmans Bottom and Irwin Bridge(above Lake Sommerville) for white bass doing the spring run.You probally already know and fish this area living close to it in College Station. But if you don't (or even if you do)the next time I go I'll e-mail you or make a post and let you know.If you think you might be interested.Just let me know and I'll meet you down there sometime. It will probally be a week or two before it picks back-up since all the flooding last week.I'm hoping sooner than that."But Only Time Will Tell" "Take Care And GOD Bless" FISHINGFOOL40

hey redneck, My sister goes to school in college station and i'm up there quite a bit. I have a poor mans boat but i catch alot of fish with it. I've never fished gibbons, but would love to try it. Used to go to school at blinn in brenham and fished thecreek and spillway religously. Lots of good kitties and hybrids.Anyways i now live in new braunfels and fish the guad.river alot and lake calaveras. If you are ever down this way (ONly 1hr30min) I would be glad to have a knowledgeble partner. By the way what species are u targeting?OR just fishing for the pull? I might be up there for chilifest at A&M, maybe we could link up then. Ps.the boat is just a 16 ft flatbottom w/ 10 horse johnson ,trolling motor, and alot of tweeked things that make life alot easier. I'm 26 yrs, married ,and spend all my time after classes either fishing or riggin for fishin,or on here looking for info on local hotspots or tips. Hey just thought i'd throw that out there! Goood luck and drop me an email at hillbgcntry@hotmail.com
