I hated to hear that Jose had been killed in a plane crash. He had a low key calm voice and what I liked about him most was the fact he gave very good instruction on different techniques for different species of fish. He was my favorite fishing show host. I will miss watching him.

I just found out about this yesterday on Facebook. Didn't even know til his daughter posted thanks for all the prayers. Wow, he will be missed. Awesome fisherman and conservationist.

Jose will be missed by all of us who ever sat down to his show. Not only was he a great fisherman and teacher of fishing, but he also always brought with him this air of good feeling. Tight lines Jose.
