Alright , I am looking for fishing spots , Other Than Fort Hood ..

I already know Belton & Stillhouse

I'm looking for a spot with bass , And Bluegill

I have a small Pleican Bass Boat , So looking to put some use to some new spots this weekend , Also I wan't places to fish like Pond's But wll fish small lake's like that

Not much to choose from other than the two you mentioned in that area. There are some private lakes but the river on stillhouse and up in the Leon on Belton are good for smaller boats. A little farther and Waco is a good lake also. Buchanan if the wind isn't blowing or Inks but those are all a good drive. I grew up in Cove and just not a lot of water to choose from close. Lake Georgetown, Travis, and Austin are all within an hour or if you can find any public spots on the Lampasas River.............

Tell me about it, There is no where to fish here , except a few ponds.. Sucks being a person that loves to fish , but are limited to a few areas

try the lakes on fort hood there is some pretty good bass fishing at the bigger ones that you can drop your boat into but you will have to go to the sportsman center on post to get you an on post fishing permit
