 can someone show me how to surf fish?

I want to learn how to surf fish.I have my own equipment and a 4x4 to get there.What I don,t understand is tides, how to rig up, and the guts.I come down often and would like to try around High Island ,Crystal Beach ,or Roll Over Pass. If anyone is interested in showing me, please let me know

reagan- you might want to and have better luck if you were to post this in the " Salt Water Fishing Section " " Surf Fishing Section " . good luck to ya.
