Fishing the river north of the bridge would be the best bet but bass fishing on Livingston is less than stellar so don't expect a whole lot. The fish stay shallow most of the year regardless of weather so structure fishing is key.

laydowns and brush. Throw it on the bank and drag it off until you find the sweet spot.

We fish from chalk which is about 10 miles up past highway 19 or 30 miles maybe up from 190 all the way to the dam regularly. There are fish all over the lake. It's a great bass lake just not a big bass lake. Plenty of 5-7 pound fish but the 8-10 pounders are scarce. Like cypress said fish the cover in shallow water.

Be careful of the floaters and logs rolling down the channel. North of 190 is not as well marked as it use to be.
