Folks, I am going to back off from posting anything on TFF, I feel that I have offended folks on here with some of my post. I promise from the depths of my heart & soul that I never meant to! I am an old fashioned old fart that says what I think, sometimes it comes out all wrong from the way it was meant to. I have posted several things for sale on here, I used to get some response for them, since I had a little run-in with a gentleman about my prices on my old boat, nobody else will even respond. I am looking for a motor, surely someone has one somewhere, No Response, I feel that nobody wants to deal with me thinking I am a no good s.o.b. If I made enemies, I am sorry. I just march to the beat of my own drum, am older & don't start no carp, but don't take none either. God Bless each of you & your families. Tolbert Parnell flehan fish

You're harmless. There's nothing wrong with bein a crochity old man. I aspire to be one some day! laugh I'm going to miss your posts. It seems like you aren't afraid to say what a lot of us are thinking. Personally, I don't think that you did anything wrong. It's not like you cussed in front of the ladies, or anything like that.

TL - Your leaving for the wrong reasons brother.

It seems to me that thru the Texas Fishing Forum you were able to learn about yourself. So, step back, take a breath and don't leave your fishing partners here.

Try this, before you feel of writing a negative comment, strive towards a positive outcome by thinking positive thoughts.

Your not alone here. The majority of us (with me being an exception bolt ) has ever wrote something we regretted.

Hey TL.

There is no reason for you to stop posting on the tff. I enjoy your posts and there is nothing wrong with speaking your mind. If anyone was offended by your posts they can get over it. We have had our words with each other, and we both got over it, no harm done. I hope you keep posting buddy.

TL, don't go. I have enjoyed your posts even the short time I have been here. You pretty much are a voice reason and you appear to be a very caring person.

I did not see the run in you had with someone about the price on your old boat. So what. If he did not like the price he did not have to buy it. It is your boat and no one can make you give it away.

Keep posting TL.

TL,

I've been on internet fishing forums for 10 years now. As in life, you just won't get along with everyone. There will always be someone who rubs you the wrong way. Online arguments can get heated, and I've had my share of them. I'm not proud of some of the things I've done, and one or two things have been downright shameful.

The best you can do is to make your amends if you treat someone harshly, then move on. No reason to stop participating, just realize who not to respond directly to, and who you might just not want to respond to at all. Sometimes after making those amends, you'll get to know someone better and make that online dispute into a bonafide friendship.

Overall, you'll meet some wonderful people thru the forums and the more people you meet and get to know, the fewer run ins you'll have.

Take a deep breath, relax and realize it's just a fishing forum. There are far more important things going on in the world today than a little dispute on the internet.

Kelly

Hey TL instead of you not posting anymore, maybe those sensitive people need to stop reading what you post, and if they don't want a straight answer don't ask the question.
wink

All you young guys calling yourselves old frats make me wonder how I'm still alive!

Don't go because no one answers your ad. I tried to sell an almost new trolling motor for over a year before the person who needed it decided that they needed it.
