I will be headed to Fork on the 11th of March for some hog hunting. I will be staying at the Lakeview Inn. I was wanting to know if anyone would be interested in going out Sat. morning on the 12th and showing me and my son a few places to go. This is our 1st trip to Fork and I have heard it can be hard on your boat. I will provide the boat, gas and refreshments if anyone would like to provide some knowledge of the lake. I would like to go out around sun up and fish till aroung two o'clock. I have a 19'6" Ranger so we should have plenty of room for 3 people. If there are no takers them can someone recommend a good guide for a 1/2 day trip? Please reply and we can work out the details.

daiwa, tried to call you but I got a message saying by your request this number will not take incoming calls. I am at work so it probably thinks I am a TM. Give me a call @ 806 275-8307 and ask for Wesley.

Ranger393V,
Call Roy Greer. His number is in the phone book out of Alba, TX. Been fishing with him for 10 years. He is the most knowledgeable guide on Fork. I believe that he charges around $75. He will go in your boat. He will teach you how to read your graphs better and explain in detail every technique you are using and why. He has a Phd. in Fisheries Management and Ecology. Very smart man and one hell of a fisherman. very nice to boot. Give him a call.

Anybody else want a co-angler for Fork that weekend? I'm in town for the next couple of weeks.
