I just recently moved to the Marble Falls area. I have a 98 Nitro and I'm ready to start using it. I have sundays off and usually one day during the week either mondays or fridays. If anyone knows any of these area lakes well and would like to partner up, let me know. I'm up for any kind of fishin that produces fish.

Hendo, welcome to cen-tex.I don't know anything about the lakes in your immediate area, however I do know Stillhouse Hollow, and Belton lakes that are about an hours drive north-east from you.As well as Fayette county reservoir,an hour east of Austin. If you're willing to learn new lakes,I'll show you the ones that I know, and learn the ones that I don't know with you.
I love bass fishing, but am not species specific when it comes to what tugs on my line.I don't own a boat,so I go when someone invites me.I'm not rich, but definitely not a free-loader and I pay what I can,or stay home.I also won't have your phone ringing off the hook, begging to go fishing. So,if your'e interested, respond here,or on my e-mail.I'll definitely get back to you.

Hendo, don't put much time on Marble Falls, that lake isn't worth the time, but Travis and LBJ and Buchanan are some lakes worth learning.

Parents had lake cabin on LBJ in the 70-80's and I lived in Llano after retiring from the navy in 94.

You will see Lake Marble Falls drained every so often so lake lot owners can do repairs to retaining walls. I just never put numbers in the boat there.

Matt.

dang, they "drain" it. that can't be good for fishing. I'll try LBJ 1st I guess. I know they only lower that a bit for cleanup.

Iv heard Inks is another dud. Couple years ago I fished it from one end to the other without a nibble. Month of march it was, should have been
some activity...

Inks is worth the look see, if not for fishing, the wildlife, its a pretty little lake, or river.

Check LCRA for release times on Buchanan if any.

If they let some water out, that area above the bridge can be full of fish.

Current positions the fish on Inks. Its key.

Matt.
