Well, the fishing is great here on Texoma. The shad are spawning on the rocks and the fish are moving up with them. I am starting my morning trips with customers casting Moe's nana sassys on the rocks and we are catching some great fish now. The bigger fish that are back in the lake are patrolling the rocks pretty good. If you want an easy way to catch stripers all you have to do is get with Moe and get some sassy's and get out here and pretend that you are fishing for green trash fish on any rocky shoreline. Just look for the white egrets on the banks to show you where the spawning shad are and the stripers will be there. Just throw to the bank and a steady retrieve in will do it.

On windy, overcast days this lasts until lunchtime, when its clear and calm only the first few hours are good. After that we are working with bait in deeper water and catching all the fish that you want. There are still lots of smaller fish that you have to weed through but the action is pretty much nonstop.
I have a few weekday trips open the next couple of weeks if anyone is interested in getting in on the great action let me know. Prices are $100 per person with a two person minimum.

I know this is the Whites - Hybrids - Striper forum but no need to get nasty. I like catching stripers now and then but I don't call yours white trash, so don't call mine green trash.

Hey Paparon, you might be interested in knowing that we are catching some great smallmouths along with the stripers so they are not as trashy as we make them out to be.

I like to fry up what we call at my house some ditch pickle surprise. Just fillet all of the smallmouth you catch along with some largemouth and mix it all together and smother it in tarter sauce where you really can't taste the fish anymore. MMMMMmmmmmmmmm good!!
