For all you bright stick fisherman. I'm real curious to see what kind of rods everyone used before those high quality super sensitive Yellow and Orange poles were manufactured.

My All Stars have been around longer and are better all the time. Just ask Chris Lane.

Still use 3 myself.

GLoomis now. Never have owned the original 2 mentioned. I was heavy on St Croix and All Stars with a few Castaway's sprinkled in years ago.

i've never owned an orange or yellow rod before.
Have used Loomis GLX and IMX, Duckett, Dobyns, Crucials, Cumaras, Bass pro rods, and started fishing with berkley lightning rods. I always find myself going back to the falcon cara line up.

High Quality is a definite stretch. Witness the returns.

Waterloo scrape rods, best rods that I've ever owned and have stood up to a lot of punishment.Power Tackle is also a great rod.

Berkley rods have always been good, and didn't cost a lot when Walmart carried them.
