I am heading down to fork in 12 days to fish for 7 days. Staying at the burning stump, just wondering what are the must to do's down that way. Where to eat and relax and have a few cold ones? And also all of your favorite spots to fish!! Just kidding!! I can not wait to get down there just not looking forward to the 12 hour drive. I will be on the lake from 05/04/12 to 05/10/12 so if you see an old ranger with a couple knobs stop and say hi!! I will also be going to see Cameron at Lake fork marina for some hot baits (I hope).

We stopped at a place on 17 on the way to Alba called "The Tackle Factory". The owner was very nice and gave us a lot of tips. Bought a couple of his lures and caught fish with them. Good luck and have fun down here.

Cameron will hook you up, always honest advice from him. You'll be hitting the lake at what should be a fantastic time. Send me a pm right before you go and I will try to give you some up to date info that might help.

Fishermans One Stop between 17 and 154 stocks what is hot,will give you good info and has Bro's Patio next door. Crawfish and cajun seafood on weekends BYOB. fun place

Wow, 12 hours! I need to be grateful and stop complaining about my 1 1/2 drive.

We made it and ready for some sunrise action. Stopped and met Cameron at lake fork marina. He hooked us up with a free beer coozie!! Thanks Cameron. Man not easy to find beer around here!!!!
