Caught quite a few out at Kickapoo on Saturday and Sunday. Rocky points about 2 feet deep with jigs. Cleaned a total of 55 for the weekend.

Took the teenager out to arrowhead Tuesday night and tried state park. Missed the rush by an hour. We did catch some small ones. Gonna go try Amon Carter next weekend. Anyone have any luck there?
Fishing can make any day awesome; just try to get mad after landing a double digit bass!

never fished carter!!! but i would think that by the end of the week they should be shollow!!! maybe you gotta get out there before the front sat!!

Dangit, I gotta get out there! Just got over a 287 hour coldflueparvoassattack bug. I would've opted for the 24 hour flu bug but i guess someone had dibbs on it. I gotta go fishing tomorrow, I just don't know where....probably third bridge...

Didn't think about the front Sam. Will be at Mineral Wells this weekend. Hopefully we can find a few there.

Early morning is definitely best! If you don't mind moving around alot, you can pick up a fish or two at each spot in the afternoons.

Just pulled in mineral wells SP from a weekend of fun. Tried to snag a crappie as it swam by with no luck. Kids caught some nice channel cats and perch. Stayed on one of the piers in Live Oak area.

Does anyone know if you can launch in Buffalo still? Didnt know if it was to low or not Yeah you can launch all types of boats out there still, as of last week when I went out on my kayak, there was bass boats all the way to pontoons launching from there easily. Went to Arrowhead today with the wife for a 1 1/2 hrs with the kayaks and managed to get 11 Sandies and kept 9 for some fish tacos.  was trolling two lines at once and managed to hook two fish at once twice. That was fun as heck trying to reel one fish in while holding the other pole in the pole holder with my feet, while having my wife laughing her butt off the entire time at me. Still was really fun and we enjoyed our selves, no good reports on crappie coming out of Arrowhead today, slow day from everybody I talked to on the shore.
