If you have a GPS system (have a Hummingbird) the Navionics South East lakes card has not only the boat lanes but almost the exact location of each buoy.

Talk to Cameron @ Lake Fork Marina. There is a boat lane chip, like an sd card you can install in your unit. When I bought mine he wasn't busy and installed it on my Hbird for me. Lots of boat lanes that are not on map cards. when bought mine I think it was bout 25 35 bucks and well worth it! Sorry I don't have phone number handy

Go with boat lanes. It's the best and well worth the little bit it cost.

Not to steal the thread but does anyone have anyideas what the orange bouys are on fork. I have never noticed them before but now they have them in birch, and over in mustang. They are just to the side of the boat lanes.

They are absolutely marking close to surface stumps. Up until the recent rains, these stumps were visible above the surface and were still marked.

I creates bigger icons for the buoys and warns against areas when the lake is low. The buoys are red in those areas.
