I'm fishing Winnsboro tomorrow and Haven't been there in a year. Was wondering if the lake is full and if the bass are biting North or south? Are they still on beds? Thanks in advance for any details. PM me if you like.

Cool! Thanks gonefishin. That's one color I never tried on that lake, I'll sure give a shot. I usually use wtr/red with the water color. But up in the grass should be fairly clear. that good idea. Thanks.

Well fishing slow to start but staring culling about noon. We ended the day with almost 11 lbs. First place had 12 lbs and change. We caught fish on blk/blu speed craws and chart-chatters. Saw a gut fishing a spinner-bait, throwing way up in the grass (1' water) and catch a few. Acouple of boat caught fish on wacky dingers. Most fish we caught 14-16". We had one that went 3 lbs. The big fish of the day was 3.85 or so. We caught a lot fish but not really any big size. Didn't fish in the stumps at the north end or down at the dam. We had eight teams with limits so it was nice day for catching. Hope this helps some.
