Maybe you need to go fishing! I got da boat, da van, and a coupla dollars for gas.

You bring your rod, reel, lures, chip in for bait and a sack lunch for yourself.

I'm serious!!!! I'm 57 yrs old and can not go out alone. I'm looking for sombady that can go fishing during the week. I'm a diabetic and fear going out alone. Call me 817-455-6696.

woundedbear, I posted on your other post looking for a partner. I am retired and free to go fishin' most of the time. I have expense money and will bring my own lunch/snacks/drinks and enough for you too. Since everyone is giving their age here, I don't mind giving mine, I'm 55, not diabetic and would love to fish with you. I also have a boat but nothing to pull it with yet, I'm looking for a pick-up and have not found what I want yet so it's just out there in the driveway. :p

Woundedbear,

I am almost in your same boat, literally. I am 45, but I have had diabetes for 34 years. I am on the insulin pump now, but out on long term disability (forced retirement) because of my depression and sleep apnea). I go fishing when I can, but it is just almost too much energy to do so. I fish Lewisville a lot and fished from 4:00 to 7:00 tonight, had 7, 6 keepers and 1 dink. The 5 best keepers were 14.5 with a big fish of 3-05.

Let me know if you want to go. I didn't fish for about 45 minutes, because I was having an insulin reaction and drinnking garoraid and eating paenut butter crackers. LOL. If those hadn't worked, I had some paptarts in my taackle bag. LOL.

Good luck and take care. I am over in Irving and can go whenver I want, I just wish I WANTED or had the energy to go more.

Tight lines, keep ssafe and good luck.
