Am I the Olny one who fishes better when I only have 2 or three baits with me? I feel like I'm more focused and switch up less

15. Signature images may not be larger than 600 pixels wide by 125 pixels tall. This includes logos, photos and other graphics. Also, no more than one row of images are allowed. If you want four or five logos in your signature, reduce their size to fit in one row. psalms 91:1-16

Ditto, that's why I sold off soooooo many combos last month. Now I have 7 combos in the boat instead of like 20, I have maybe 4 on the deck with me and the other three are for very specific situations which aren't used often. Makes me more focused on what I'm doing.

You know you've got it figured out when the only rod out is in your hand! Sometimes I think its' because im to stubborn to put that jig down though!

Same here. You spend a lot more time tying on new lures and losing focus. If they're hungry, they'll bite it.

For the KYKX tournament I'm only going to have 4 baits in the boat. OH LOOK........ Here's another post. At four o'clock today you told me I was lolly gaggin, piss antin and stickin to you. You're killin me........ you'd think all this time you spent TALKIN fishing, you'd at least have caught one over 4 pounds this year. And by the way, I call MAJOR bs on the "four lures" plan. Just try not to fall outta your chair again!

I doubt it. More of a cofidence bait senario i think. We have wacked em on Fork the last 3 weekends wacky style with one bait. we fished the BL toury Sunday and I couldnt make myself change to anything else even during those 45min gaps with nothing. I made myself throw KVD sexy shad for 1 1/2 hours with nothing and swithched back wacky for the rest of the week.

Most of the time I end up using only 3 or 4 baits as the OP stated.....but I have ALL the rest of them available just in case I might need one!

I have lures tied on most rods purely to save me from wearing lures as hat accessories or worse an ear now pierced from a mis-slung crankbait. I issue combos with a lure already on for their skill level and directions how to use it. I guess this is where I point out most of my "backseats" are filled with my granddaughters, and my ex who holds the reins on the granddaughters activities in the boat.

Some days I force myself not to pick up the flipping stick... just cause I need to teach myself something new or try different things
