I bought one a while back(two years ago??) becasue i needed a new flipping stick quick and couldn't wait for a new custom one that went overboard.

I thought if it survived long enough for me to get a better replacement it would be fine, as it turns out i really liked it and I've never replaced it. It's seem some hogs at falcon, gibbons, fayette and sheldon!!

Good rods. Never had an issue with mine and that's after a lot of abuse and quite a bit of fishing.

I flip and fish a big jig or worm, with mine with 20 lbs fluro, have never had a problem, most of my buds have at least one and only one has broke. I bought an extra heavy cause I was warry of all the forum posts. I LOVE mine, weight great and it is by far the most sensitve rod exspecially for the weight and length I have felt. The sensitivity is the best part for me. i'm no baby on the hook set either I let'er rip. I have never had issues I have the original I guess, it isn't a gold or a wild. If you are worried about breakage move up one size so it is a little stouter.

I agree with Dale Griffin on the love/hate deal. You gotta spend some time and decide for yourself. Like so many other things in this sport, don't let folks get you scared to try somthing new

I just got off the phone with e21 sports customer service. They are replacing my broken rod for free and waiving the fees. Now THATS customer service! I will withdraw my complaint and will re-give them a try! They are a dang light rod...can't wait to start throwing those Med sized cranks on it!

my favorite thing about mine is its as light as a 6' 6'' but is a 7' 9''. its pretty sensitive but can't tell thats its any more sensitive than any other rod ive ever picked up. use it for flipping with 65# braid and can flip 5 lbers in the boat with it. but i would probably not buy another one because of how many i hear of breaking. just waiting for mine to break... hope it doesn't
