Seems like you guys feel the same way I do about snakes. It climbs in my boat, I'm in the water. Once I see one I'm always looking over my shoulder the rest of the day.

Man I hope not, I lose all common sense around snakes. theres about a 95% I would either be walking on water or my boat would have bullet holes.

If it is actually sneaking while you are trolling it is more than likely a Cotton Headed Rattle Moccasin, BE CAREFUL!

Absolutley hate snakes all are poisonous far as I am concerned. Rats I hate as well. Especially the ones here on the coast, big as dogs I tell you.

Was on Fork last weekend and seen a 5' diamondback water snake on a tree right out of the water. We actually bumped into the tree while he was on it. He was just a few inches above the boat. Needless to say it was a very tense few seconds making our escape. He came down that one and swam to another and went up it.

Just last week while solo night fishing Fork. I noticed a snake swimming next to my boat, so I kept a good eye on him, after a minute I lost him and I got to wondering, so I grabbed a flash light and went to the back of the boat and sure enough he was half way in the boat with a catfish in his mouth. I had this hot flash rush through my body and in a temporary loss of common sence I commenced to whipin him with my G.Loomis. One of us was gettin out of the boat. I couldn't beleive my rod was in one piece after the way I swatted that thing. I sounded like one of them tennis girls swingin thier racquet!

Snakes will try to get in your boat, when there tired and want up on something. But Iam the captin of my boat and aint leaving it because of snake.LOL but bees and wasps is another story. Me and anglin ag pulled up to a dock and started to fish. The dock owner was on the dock and proceeded to spray a giant wasp nest. The wind was blowing our direction hundreds of wasps came screaming down towards us we were both running in circles screaming like little girls on the back deck. We didnt get stung and the dock owner and his little girl were laughing so hard , he apologized and said sorry but it looked so funny you to on the boat sceaming and swinging yawls hats running around the boat.We all had a laugh but it really scared the hec out of us.

Once had a battle with a single bumblebee over who would drive the gasoline tanker. Hit the emergency brake, jumped out and it was all his. His sting is no laughing matter.
