We used to house boat it a lot when I was younger. Califronia has a lot of lakes that are loaded with toad spotted bass. If I can find the picture, I have one of my buddy holding 3 fish(2 spots and a smallmouth) for 21 pounds out of another northern california lake

NorCal Angler N Joined: Nov 2011 Posts: 275 Tyler, Texas	Shasta, Oroville, Clear lake, Folsom, Black Butte, Barryessa, Whiskeytown all produce large Spotted bass.(never seen one that big tho) Being from California I always like to point out how much the lake levels change. Oroville for example is currently at 900' deep and in December was 745'deep. http://lakelevelalert.com/oroville-current-lake-level-california.php
