Headed to Choke tomorrow and Saturday. Any reports that anyone would like to share? I know last week was amazing down there but everyone's been tight lipped this week. Thanks in advance!

I've fished the new moon of March, full moon and new moon of April and did well on numbers (31, 61 and 37) but not good on size. We did get some 6.5 to 7.9 lb fish but lots of 1.5 to 3 lb males. I was suprised at the lack of emergent grass and ended up fishing rocky points and flats instead. Didn't really fish the shoreline that much except in three fingers and possum creek where we got a few. Maybe that was a mistake on my part but the long points were giving up numbers and it was hard to leave them behind.

Square billed cranks, chatterbait and t-rigged Zoom trick stick were our best baits. Sitting in 20 fow and throwing up to 5 fow on top of the points and then dragging it back into 8 to 10 fow to get bit was working for us.

This past Friday we got 37 by 2:30 when the front blew thru with lots of lightning. We got off the water for about 90 minutes and then when it finally blew thru we had what seemed like 30mph winds that basically ended the day for us.

We did get some on isolated trees in about 5 fow but not that many up real shallow. If anyone did better on size, please let us know.

Richard
