I agree with Traybird. The conditions are going to be tough again this week. I believe that one keeper will put you in the hunt for first place.

Good luck to all and we'll see ya' at the ramp.

The third place team's fish weighed 1.86, so the above is not completely accurate.

Official Tournament results for Tuesday – 5/1/12
1st place: 3 fish - 6.52lbs - $400
2nd place: 1 fish - 2.50lbs - $200
3rd place: 1 fish - 1.86lbs - $100
Big Bass: 2.60lbs - $100
Trash fish: 2.00lb Grinnell - $40
Redfish: no fish weighed in (money carried over)

Keep in mind that EACH INDIVIDUAL must fish at least ten (10) tournaments to qualify for the championship. So come on out if you can.

Pre-registering at Simon Outfitters will get your name in the hat for a free gift certificate. These will be drawn weekly, so take advantage of that if possible.

sorry I had a typo I meant the 3rd place was just under 2 lbs. A fish under 1 lb would not be long enough to keep.

Official Tournament results for Tuesday – 5/8/12

1st place: no fish weighed in (money carried over)
2nd place: no fish weighed in (money carried over)
3rd place: no fish weighed in (money carried over)
Big Bass: no fish weighed in (money carried over)
Trash fish: don't recall, but a fish was weighed
Redfish: no fish weighed in (money carried over)

As can be seen from the above results, out of 23 teams, only one TRASH fish was weighed in.

That means that all money will be carried over to the next tournament and will be referred to as “bonus money.” Any contestant that wishes to compete for this bonus pot must be paid in full from the time the bonus started, to the current tournament. This pot is optional and would be in addition to any of the current tournament prize money.

1 bass weighed in this week at 1.1 lbs
I dont know the weights but a red and trash fish was weighed in.

Only 21 boats fished so they were only going to pay 2 places. The money for 2nd will be carried over to next week as a bonus pot.

We need people to keep fishing to keep the payouts high and at 3 places. All you need is 1 lucky fish and you are more than likely in the money.

Official Tournament results for Tuesday – 6/5/12

24 boats

1st place: one fish - 1.96lbs - $395
2nd place: one fish - 1.86lbs - $190
3rd place: one fish - 1.44lbs - $95
Big Bass: 1.96lbs - $95
Trash fish: 0.25 bream - $35
Redfish: 4.68lbs - $45

There were two illegal fish brought to the scales during this tournament. One of which cost a competitor money because he turned the smaller of his two fish over first to be considered part of his creel, resulting in the disqualification of the entire sack.

Any competitor may ask to borrow the official measuring stick to check the length of their fish (away from the weigh table) before submitting it to the committee for weighing.

It clearly states in the rules that it is the responsibility of each competitor to make sure that any fish to be weighed must be at least 14" or the entire sack will be disqualified, NO EXCEPTIONS.

Please be aware that it is AGAINST THE LAW in the state of Texas to possess a fish under 14" and to do so is punishable by fine.

Are those weights acurate? I don't understand 1 fish @ 1.96 winning and big bass being 1.44 or the 3rd place weight matching the winning weight.
